First week of School 2022-2023

Dear P.S. 111 Families:

We hope your summer has been safe and enjoyable!

The first day of school is approaching and we wanted to advise you of the Arrival and Dismissal times for the first few days:

Thursday, September 8th-

Pre K students have a partial day: ARRIVAL is at 9:30am; DISMISSAL at 11:30am. PK students use the SMALL Yard on 52nd Street.

Kindergarten students have a partial day: ARRIVAL at 9:00am. Kindergarten students stay with their families outside in the yard until 10am.
Kindergarten students then have class and lunch, 10am-12:30pm; DISMISSAL for Kindergarten is 12:30PM in the yard.
Location of which Yard for Kindergarten is TBD.

Grades 1-5 will arrive between 8:15am and 8:30am and gather in the LARGE yard until about 9:00am. Families can stay until 9:00am or they can just drop off students.
Regular DISMISSAL for Grades 1-5 at 2:50pm
We will have snacks, drinks, balloons, etc. to make a fun morning!

Friday, September 9th-

Pre K will again START at 9:30am for a longer half day and will have lunch; DISMISSAL is at 12:30pm

Grades K-5 will have a normal day (8:30am- 2:50PM) but parents can stay only stay in the yard for a few minutes.

Monday, September 12th-

Normal arrival and full day for everyone: 8:30am-2:50pm
No parents in the yard

8:30AM to 2:50PM

BREAKFAST service for Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5:

7:55AM to 8:20AM
