Mrs. Riedell (101)

Hello. My name is Mrs. Riedell, (formally known as Ms. Layng). I am currently teaching First Grade. I have been teaching for 14 years.
Courtney Hanson is part of the ICT first grade team at PS 111. She holds her MSEd from Hunter College in Special Education and her Bachelor’s in Childhood Education from Concordia College. Although Courtney is fairly new to the PS 111 community, she has worked as an elementary school teacher in Manhattan for seven years. She loves to read, cook, and spend time with her family. Courtney believes that her role as a teacher is to teach and connect with all children on multiple levels.

Ms. Hernandez (103)
Hello! My name is Ms Hernandez.  PS 111 has been my home away from home for 15 years!  In that time, I've enjoyed teaching classes from Pre-K to 3rd grade, and have always had a passion for teaching little ones how to read.  As an educator, there's nothing more exciting than seeing a child's eyes brighten because they've learned something from you💜
